“I am disappointed about the name – I quite liked iSlate. I am sure that it will be a quality piece of equipment – it looks nice – but might be too pricy both for the equipment and the data plans. Before I make a final judgement, I would like to see one and to find out what kind of pricing plans are offered in Europe”

“In it’s current state it’s a epic failure given the hype leading up to it’s release. This was supposed to be the next greatest thing since the invention of the laptop yet it cannot do many of the most modane of tasks…. Multitasking? Nope. Flash support? Nope. Camera, front or back? Nope. No video out, no sd slot, no USB. I can’t see how small features like these were overlooked in the countless focus groups that this device was most certainly subjected to! That all compounded by the fact that you are stuck yet again with ATT…. Cmon has apple been living under a rock in light of the issues that they have had with the iPhone in many of their key markets?”

“I was expecting… more. I was expecting Apple to think different, but I guess those days are long gone…  Where is the forward facing camera to chat? It’s WiFi with 3G option. Why can I not chat to friends whilst looking at them? So, lets say something amazing happens in front of your eyes… you just have to tell the world… ooops! No camera. So go find the iphone, take the picture… and then what? Transfer by bluetooth? Email to myself?”

“I think is just a magnified copy of an Ipod touch….why do pay the 1/2 of a Mac book pro 13” for just a touch screen? I think they just had to offer a tablet to the market, and that’s all, there’s no real innovation on it. Ipod touch and Ipad are just sons of the iPhone.”

“I’m honestly let down by it! This seems like a giant ipod touch which you need to spend more money on accessories, it has no flash, no camera. I guess it’s because I was expecting a macbook pro with a touchscreen interface which i would have been extremely interested in. It’s a big no for me.”
